Duties
- Stocking and rotating produce items on shelves and displays
- Assisting customers with inquiries and purchases
- Operating a cash register for transactions
- Using a pallet jack to move heavy produce crates
- Packaging fruits and vegetables for sale
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the produce department
Skills
- Experience in sales or customer service is preferred
- Ability to operate a cash register accurately
- Capable of lifting heavy items regularly
- Bilingual skills are a plus for customer interaction
- Knowledge of inventory management practices
- Familiarity with retail math calculations
- Proficiency in handling and displaying various types of produce
