We are seeking a Junior Buyer to support our procurement team, focusing primarily on electronic components. In this role, you will also engage in various materials-related tasks, including:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong computer skills is required. Some experience and working knowledge of MRP systems along with experience in a manufacturing environment is also preferred. Knowledge of Made 2 Manage ERP system is a plus.

- Procurement & Vendor Interaction: Review requisitions and obtain necessary approvals. Collaborate with vendors to gather details about product pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
- Stock Monitoring: Verify stock quantities and communicate with the sales team to determine lead times.
- Production Support: Create and manage jobs for production to ensure smooth operations.
- Purchase Order & Record Management: Prepare purchase orders and maintain records related to items, services, costs, delivery, product quality, and inventory.
- Quality Control: Work with inspection teams, users, vendors, and others to resolve issues with defective or unacceptable goods/services and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Order Expediting: Proactively follow up on open orders to ensure timely delivery.
