Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Principal to lead our school community and to serve approximately 140 students in grades ranging from PK to 12. The ideal candidate should have proven leadership in the area of school administration, a desire to serve in a small, rural community, possess a strong background in education administration and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. This role requires a commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment, while also managing the operational aspects of the school. The Principal will work collaboratively with teachers, staff, students, and parents to ensure academic excellence and the overall well-being of the school community.
Duties
- Provide visionary leadership to create a positive school culture that promotes student achievement and well-being.
- Oversee curriculum development and implementation to ensure alignment with educational standards and student needs.
- Engage in strategic planning to set long-term goals for the school’s growth and development.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including parents, community members, and local organizations.
- Conduct regular evaluations of staff performance, providing feedback and support for professional development.
- Facilitate public speaking engagements to represent the school at community events and meetings.
- Ensure compliance with educational regulations and policies while advocating for the needs of students and staff.
Requirements
- Proven experience in education administration or a similar leadership role within a school setting.
- Strong skills in classroom management, public speaking, and strategic planning.
- Demonstrated ability to develop curricula that meet diverse student needs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relationships effectively across various stakeholders.

- Ability to work collaboratively with leadership teams to drive school initiatives forward.
- A valid administrative credential.
