What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jewelry Television – Senior Broadcast Production Supervisor position at Jewelry Television?
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for overall supervision of the Broadcast Production staff and on-air output within a 24 / 7 live environment
- Oversee schedule assignments of the Television Production staff
- Handle weekly payroll
- Write and administer performance evaluations of Directors, Technical Directors, Assistant Directors, Graphics Operators and Production Technicians & oversee administration of evaluations for all staff within the department
- Communicate and develop blocking for studio cameras working in conjunction with the Lighting Director
- Coordinate with Training Supervisor to invest in new employees as well as mentoring experienced crew
- Coordinate backfilling crew call offs and help ensure coverage for live show
- Write disciplinary actions from verbal warnings to terminations
- Conduct interviews and hire new production personnel
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure all elements are ready for upcoming shows
- Direct live shows as needed
