This is a temporary role, July 7-July 18 and pay is commensurate with experience. The Jewish Community Center of Dallas is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
Responsibilities:
- Assist with and implement core and non-core camp activities in various group settings.
- Lead large and small group recreational activities as needed.
- Support Specialty Theater Staff with hands-on tasks, embodying a collaborative, can-do attitude.
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and happiness of assigned campers.
- Address and manage camper behavior promptly and appropriately.
- Serve as a positive role model, fostering enthusiasm, teamwork, fairness, and fun.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Experience or strong passion for performing arts (theater, dance, voice, etc.).
- Previous experience working with children or a genuine desire to engage with kids.
- Enthusiastic, dependable, caring, and team-oriented personality.
