Job Description:
- Lead groups of up to 12 campers on 10-day backcountry trips, emphasizing teamwork, safety, and environmental stewardship
- Develop and implement engaging programs that promote outdoor education, leadership, and personal growth
- Maintain a high level of physical fitness, able to hike up to 5 miles per day with a 50-60 lb backpack
- Collaborate with co-staff to ensure seamless trip execution and camper satisfaction
Requirements:
- One year of prior experience leading backpacking trips or equivalent personal experience
- Current Wilderness First Responder certification (training provided if needed)
- Ability to communicate effectively with campers and staff, promoting a positive and inclusive camp culture
