This posting is for 1099 Independent Contractor position. This posting is NOT for a W2 employee position.
The WTA Technical Apprentice Intern will assist the Technical Director in building, painting, loading in and striking the set, and running backstage crew assignments for the Wolf Theatre Academy main stage summer production.
During the build process, Technical Apprentice Intern will be required to read design plans, operate power tools, cut lumber, paint and stain scenery, build theatrical props, and assist students in accomplishing these tasks. Specific details of these tasks will be provided by the Technical Director.
As lead stage technician, Technical Apprentice Intern will be required to work with the stage management team to develop run sheets for props and moving scenery, preset props, scenery, and set dressing, move scenery throughout the run of each performance, maintain a clean and safe stage environment.

Location: Elaine Wolf Theatre
Dates: Thursday, June 12 – Sunday, July 13
Monday – Friday: 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm; June 12-June 27
Monday-Friday: 9:00am-4:00pm July 1, 2 and July 9-11th
Performances: Wednesday July 9th @ 7:00pm Thursday June 10 @ 11:00am and 7:00 pm; Friday July 11 @ 11:00 am; Sunday, July 13 @ 1:00 pm
Potential Weekend Tech Call on 29th & Sunday June 28th
