Description :
The Driver, Heritage is responsible for providing safe and timely transportation for senior adults between their residences and Heritage at The J, which is located in Overland Park, Kansas. The Driver will use a company-provided vehicle, which may be a passenger van or mini-coach.
Schedule : Part-Time, Monday - Friday from 7 : 30 am until about 10 : 30am

Responsibilities
Transport senior adults between their residences and the Heritage CenterEnsure the safety and comfort of passengers upon pick-up and drop-offMaintain compliance with state regulations regarding the lawful operation of a motor vehicleMaintain cleanliness of company vehicles, inside and outMonitor service schedules for vehicles and inform Heritage Center director when service is neededMonitor fuel levels of company vehicles, purchase fuel as needed and follow all policies for using company purchase cardRequirements :
High School Diploma or equivalentAge 21 or overAt least 3 years of experience safely operating a personal or commercial vehicleValid driver license with classification appropriate to operate company vehicles and valid auto insuranceClean driving record with no moving violations within the past three yearsKnowledge of traffic rules and regulations for the State of KansasMust be able to safely operate company vehicles in all weather conditionsAbility to work with senior adults and provide excellent customer service with kindness, patience and concerns for safety at all timesPhysical Requirements
Position requires travel outdoors in company vehicle, therefore tolerance to extremes of heat and cold weather is necessary.Position requires occasional bending, squatting, sitting, standing, pulling, pushing, lifting, and moving items that may weigh up to 25 lbs.About The J
