JFSA is actively seeking a full-time mental health Case Manager /Therapeutic Behavior Specialist in AKRON, OHIO
This position will provide a wide array of community-based services to adults diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illness to maintain community stability and improve quality of life. Therapeutic Behavior Specialist assistance includes:
- Person-centered, strengths-based, and solution-focused treatment planning; healthcare coordination, coping skills, and problem-solving development; restoration of interpersonal and social skills
- Restoration of daily living skills
- Crisis prevention and amelioration
- Community resource linkage and referral; and advocacy
This is a Monday through Friday position with NO on-call or after-hour duties. JFSA Therapeutic Behavior Specialists maintain reasonable case numbers where the emphasis is placed on quality of life development. This job requires frequent travel to serve clients within the community residing on the Eastside of Cleveland.
