Clinical Nurse Educator (RN)

Current possession of an RN license for nursing practice in NJ is required.

Lead orientation for clinical staff on wellness education processes and provide comprehensive education to both staff and consumers. Instruct team members on safe, high-quality care delivery aligned with agency policies, State and federal regulations, and accreditation standards. Actively participate in needs assessment, content development, deployment, and evaluation of training activities to enhance the performance and development of JFS staff and consumers. Contribute to innovative education programs and clinical initiatives supporting the organization’s mission.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support and assist in the development of flexible and individualized assessments and rehabilitation plans (IRP).
• Completes annual nursing assessments, dual documentation in CSS regarding service plans (Individualized Rehabilitation Plan), assessments (Comprehensive rehabilitation Needs Assessment), and related clinical interventions.
• Facilitates linkages to recommended/necessary medical providers.
• Provides or arranges client transportation per program guidelines and with supervisory consultation.
• Provides health specific education to consumers based on individual needs
• Provides consultation and training to staff when required
• Demonstrated expertise in educational program development and presentation in accordance with the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the Scope and Standards of Nursing Professional Development

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Current possession of an RN license for nursing practice in NJ is required.
• Two or more years of professional nursing with home care experience is preferred. Annual verification of appropriate credentials must be maintained.
