Position Summary:
This exciting position is the perfect spot for those interested in sustainable farming and food production. The Greenhouse Operations Team Member will assist in the aeroponic greenhouse to ensure fresh, high-quality leafy greens and herbs are available to our customers. This position involves the main aspects of greenhouse operations, including cleaning, harvesting, seeding, integrated pest management (IPM), and transplanting while using organic farming methods.
This position is Part-time, 24-30 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
- Greenhouse cleaning (use shop vacuums, pressure washers, brooms, mops, cleaning rags)
- Cleaning with bleach, vinegar, food-grade sanitizers, and Isopropyl alcohol daily.
- Support the Farm Manager and Operations Team Lead.
- Assist with Integrated Pest Management (IPM) to include organic, non-chemical pesticide application.
- Seeding and transplanting.
- Plant harvesting with scissors and packaging.
- Trimming of plants with scissors.
- Trash and recycling disposal.
- Maintain food safety in compliance with farm guidelines.
- Able to work 2-4 hours on a Saturday or Sunday.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Experience (will train on the specifics of the farm operation):
- 2 years of experience in a restaurant or farming operation desired.
- Knowledge of planting, harvesting, and trimming of plants is desired.
- Experience in outdoor and/or indoor farming operations preferred.
- Experience in food safety and cleanliness.
- Passion for sustainable farming and food production.
- Ability to work independently but part of a team.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail oriented.
- Organizational skills.
- Must be able to perform manual labor, including frequent lifting of 50 lbs. An agility test is required and is arranged and paid for through the agency.
- Must be able to climb and stand on step stools and small ladders.
- Must have visual acuity to be able to work with seeds, seedlings, and other small items.
