Jewish Federation of Detroit seeks an experienced Executive Assistant to provide top-notch administrative and clerical support to the Senior Director, Community Affairs & the Director, Community Relations in a fast-paced environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Organize and support the demanding workloads of the Senior Director, Community Affairs and the Director, Community Relations.
- Exercise good common sense, judgment and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive material.
- Capable of professionally handling a high volume of donors, media, community leaders, and other important contacts in a calm, confident and friendly manner.
- Schedule meetings, appointments, arrange catering, book rooms, and arrange conference calls.
- Answer incoming calls for Executive Suite professionals, screen and route calls and emails as required.
- Prepare general correspondence and electronic correspondence.
- Provide excellent internal and external customer service in a responsive and timely way.
- Research, compose and complete a professional document utilizing proper grammar, spelling and format skills.
- Prepare meetings, format presentations for Committee meetings and document minutes.
