Pay Range: $20.50-$21.50 Hourly (Pay information will vary depending upon relevant experience for the position)
Full Time 40 hours 3pm-11:30pm includes weekends plus on-call rotation
GENERAL SCOPE: To maintain the building systems and equipment in good working order and completes repairs accurately and completely.

Essential Functions
- Completes various building repairs in a workman like manner and produce quality results.
- Changes light bulbs, switches, plugs, cords and makes other minor electrical repairs.
- Unplugs sinks, toilets, sewers and drain lines.
- Repairs faucets, toilets, showers, valves, sinks and makes other minor plumbing related repairs.
- Performs routine building maintenance, preventive maintenance and emergency maintenance repairs as assigned.
- Performs minor repairs on kitchen and laundry equipment.
- Completes all required paperwork and records for the department.
- Works with tradesmen, other mechanics or other staff as assigned.
- Carries the on-call cell phone and accepts responsibility as the on-call mechanic on a rotating basis.
- Performs weekly and monthly testing of the emergency power generators and documents the results.
- Performs inspections including weekly and monthly testing on the above ground and the below ground fuel storage tanks as directed by the supervisor or Director. Documents all results and will inform the supervisor and Director of any problems immediately. Trains new staff in the testing procedure.
- Wears/uses proper safety equipment when using power tools, striking tools, chemicals, working overhead or at any time a task is performed where there is a remote possibility of any injury or death. Insures co-workers and by-standers are protected prior to beginning any work. If safety requirements are unknown, the work is not to begin until safety training is completed.
- Follows all prescribe OSHA safety regulations relating to this position.
