Who Is the Jewish Resource Center of the Poconos :
The Jewish Resource Center of the Poconos (JRC) is a resource for culture, education, religious and social experiences that promote Jewish identity and connection throughout the cycle of life. Our Missions are : a) To cultivate a thriving Judaism by offering multifaceted programs that advance knowledge and foster personal connections and inspiration for all. b) To provide essential services that combat loneliness and improve the lives of senior citizens in Monroe & Pike Counties and beyond. We are currently seeking applicants for the new role of JRC Administrator.
Administrator Role and Responsibilities :
The Administrator at JRC is responsible for daily management of the office, constituent relations, security and safety, and maintenance functions of the JRC, as well as professionally representing the center and the programs and services offered. The Administrator must possess a high degree of organizational and technical skills. A solid working knowledge of government regulations and grant opportunities pertinent to the operation of the center is essential, as is engaging in process improvement, and adhering to organization conduct standards.
Primary Responsibilities include :
- Manage customer records in a CRM.
- Use accepted bookkeeping tasks and techniques to responsibly manage the center's finances.
- Understand and supervise health and safety regulations of PA Dept of Health and Area Agency on Aging.
- Maintain center documents and archives using a standardized method of filing.
- Assist with fundraising tasks and responsibilities.
- Work with the Executive Director to identify government funding sources for JRC activities and programs.
- Maintain the appearance and content of the JRC website.
- Work with the Executive Director to develop and implement a marketing strategy that will inform the target audiences about JRC programs and services.
- Supervise the maintenance of center facilities and grounds.
- Gather and provide required information and documents to accountants for annual filings of 990, BCO, and other required filings.
- Monitor and document the spending for each program as determined by the Program Director.
- Special research and development projects, as assigned.
Expected Hours of Work : Mon-Fri, 35-40 hours / week.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements :
1. Up to 8 hours of office, computer, and telephone work, including sitting at a desk, per work day.
2. May occasionally involve moving and organizing supplies onsite and offsite, including the ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
