We are seeking a passionate and dynamic School Music Director / Teacher to lead our Jewish music program for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will instill a love of Jewish music in students, nurture their musical abilities, and create meaningful opportunities for performance and growth.
Responsibilities :
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate music lessons, incorporating music theory, vocal instruction, and instrumental activities.
- Organize and lead school performances, concerts, and musical programs that celebrate student talent and creativity.
- Foster a love of music by encouraging participation and creating an inclusive, inspiring classroom environment.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate Jewish music into other areas of learning.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, embodying BMA’s core values.
- Supervise students during non-instructional times, ensuring a positive and safe environment.
