Job Summary
The Area Manager of Operations is responsible for overseeing multiple clubs to ensure that the business operations in their area are aligned with the overall organizational goals and strategies. Being responsible for monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators, the Area Manager will be responsible for reviewing the revenue, expenses, customer satisfaction and employee engagement within their area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Reports to the Vice President of Operations with any tasks assigned
- Create connections with members in building our membership base
- Generate brand awareness inside and outside the facility
- Upholds all club policies and procedures in a tactful and positive manner
- Facilitates and manages staff to maintain the smooth operations of the clubs
- Communicate clearly and effectively with current and future employees and management
- Address member concerns with tact
- Audits job performances on a weekly basis to provide up-skilling and constructive feedback.
- Oversee and guide your team of experienced management personnel to success
- Keep current with industry trends, literature and communicates this to staff
- Evaluates employee performance and provides feedback
- Works with General Managers to maintain club cleanliness standards
- Communicate programs, events and schedules to other departments, especially Member Services
- Promote best industry practices and train staff members as necessary
- Maintains a high professionalism in regard to attitude and performance
- Maintains or develops necessary knowledge regarding position related topics
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- 3 years (minimum) of management experience/supervising employees.
- Organizational skills to manage large amounts of information
- Strong customer service skills in the areas of handling disputes and treating customers with care
- Must be a leader and team player
- Strong communication skills
- Be proficient in the use of all required software programs.

- Ability to read and interpret English documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write reports and correspondences
- Use of eye scan technology for recording time worked
