Description

We serve a diverse clientele including retail fueling stations, commercial and government fleets, and emergency power customers.
The Service Trainer will conduct presentations followed by hands on instruction, and supervision of required tasks. Deliver excellent continuing education training to internal and external trainees. Trainings consist of manufacture certification and proprietary courses developed by JFPG.
Primary duties
- Understand, participate, comply, and enforce JFPG safety policies.
- Execute training classes, including remote, for internal personnel and external companies seeking training.
- Motivate trainees to set aggressive/achievable production goals.
- Assist the Training Manager with the development of technicians.
- Assist the Training Department with the development of training curriculum.
- Provide weekly evaluations on all training events and the attending technicians to their supervisors and Training Manager.
- Assist with setting schedules and determine resource requirements.
- Analyze training courses to ensure all information, tools, and materials required are present prior to beginning a training class.
- Provide documentation as required by company policies and procedures or as requested by the JFPG Corporate Training Manager
- Read and interpret product specifications to determine sequence and methods of assembly and installation.
As Needed
- Assist on projects as directed by the JFPG Training Manager
- Work with and evaluate technicians in the field
- Assist with resolution of field technical issues through the Technical Support Center
Requirements
- Highschool Diploma or GED required
- Driver’s license, must pass internal review (current, unrestricted, and free of moving violations)
- Minimum 10-year experience with petroleum related equipment installations, and repairs.
- Extensive experience working with electrical or electronic equipment may replace petroleum experience requirements
- Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of computer operation and use is required
- Intermediate to advanced experience working with Microsoft Teams and Office Products such as Power Point and Excel.
- Able and willing to work outside in all weather conditions
- Must be able and willing to travel on a frequent basis
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.

- Must have or be able to attend and pass manufacture and industry certification, including Train the Trainer certification classes:
- Point-of-Sale equipment
- Petroleum Dispenser(s)
- Petroleum Tank Monitor(s)
- PEI Recommended Practices
- CPR/First Aide
- Confined Space - JFPG
- Smith Driving
- Other courses as prescribed by the JFPG Corporate Training Manager.
- Must be able to meet company’s employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company
- Physical Requirements: Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds, frequent bending, stooping, standing 8-10 hours per day.
