Description

Responsible for the Authorized Service Contractor (ASC) Center’s organization and inventory accuracy. The employee is responsible for the oversight of all parts receiving, as well as relieving inventory through the proper channels. Basic understanding of procedures to aid in customer service is necessary. Confirming that all warranty items are returned in a timely and orderly fashion is essential. In addition, branch level core reconciliation, warranty return, DOA (Dead on Arrival) parts returns, and management of several reports are a primary function of this position.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receiving of stock and warranty return items
- Labeling and stocking processes
- Identify discrepancies through the software versus what is physically available
- Validate inventory, and redistribute service requests
- Managing and shipping of warranty related requests
- Relieve inventory through active transfers and RTV’s (Return to Vendor)
- Keeping the warehouse and ASC Center clean and organized
- Shipping orders or inter office requests as needed
- Conducting full physical counts of the ASC Center
- Backfill other warehouse positions when required
- Update spreadsheets and shared files (Project Related)
- Travel to educate staff on proper processes and procedures
- Work directly with the Warranty Administrator when billing issues arise
- Report on warranty and core return statuses
Requirements
Requirement:
- Highschool Diploma or GED required
- Basic computer skills
- Physical Requirements: include occasional lifting/carrying of 10 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to meet company’s employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company
