Our client is looking for a 2 nd Shift Production Supervisor to add to their team in the York, PA area. It is an exciting Direct Hire position! Our client has a temperature controlled environment, potential for growth, and company stability. The right candidate can earn up to 90K in this role!
Responsibilities :
- Manages team and coordinates with production planning to optimize workforce efficiency and meet shift requirements.
- Ensures accountability for safety, quality, productivity, and adherence to company policies, taking disciplinary action when needed.
- Directs workforce to maintain safety, quality, and productivity, while improving the production environment.
- Coordinates manpower for planned absences and operational needs, ensuring workforce flexibility and training.
- Oversees preventative maintenance, safety protocols, and cleanliness in alignment with business priorities.
- Acts as lead contact for non-routine tasks and back shifts.
- Ensures maintenance work orders align with production plans and business goals, and conducts yearly performance evaluations.
- Responsible for training operational employees on job content, safety, regulations, and customer requirements.
- Promotes a safety-first culture to achieve zero lost-time accidents and ensures adherence to operational budget and ISO 9001 quality standards.
