What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grants Manager position at JFCS Louisville?
JFCS is seeking a Grants Manager to work on the Advancement Team. The Manager will be required to work closely with the Program Teams, Finance Team, and Executive Team when necessary. The Grants Manager is responsible for researching, preparing, submitting, and managing grant proposals/reports that support JFCS’ goals and meet funder guidelines and criteria. JFCS has grown significantly in the past few years and much of that growth is through foundation and government grants. This individual will fully manage the grant process for those grants including managing funder relationships, engaging in compliance reporting, supporting special project initiatives, and working with other programs to meet report deadlines. This person will also be responsible for researching new grants depending on agency needs and creating a strategic pipeline of prospective grants. This position requires strong organizational skills, writing skills, data analysis, program budgeting, project management, cross collaboration and focus on outcome measurement.
