While on duty, the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Supervisor maintains primary responsibility for daily operations of the EMS department and of EMS team members that report directly to them through the table of organization, as well as team members for whom they have oversight when on duty.
Qualifications:
2. Minimum of 3 years of EMS experience.
3. Hazmat EMS operations within 6 months of hire.
4. Advanced word processing skills and intermediate spreadsheet skills.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. Introduction to Incident Command System, ICS-100 or Introduction to Incident Command System, ICS-100.b or Introduction to Incident Command System for Healthcare/Hospitals or National Incident Management System.
7. Incident Command System, ICS-200 for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents or Applying ICS to Healthcare Organizations.
8. ICS-700.a National Incident Management System (NIMS) An Introduction or NIMS-700 National Incident Management System (NIMS) An Introduction.
9. ICS-800.D National Incident Management System (NIMS) National Response Framework, An Introduction.
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
11. Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
2. 1 year EMS supervisor experience.
2. Supervisors must have licensure and certification equivalent to all roles in which they are expected to fulfill to provide staff support.
3. Valid Driver's License from a USA State.
4. AHA Basic Life Support Health Care Provider Certification or BLS Instructor Certification.
5. Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification or ACLS Instructor Certification.
6. Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification or PALS Instructor Certification.
7. CEVO Certified Emergency Vehicle Operator or EVOC Emergency Vehicle Operations within 90 days of hire.
