EMISSIONS/SAFETY INSPECTION TECHNICIAN
Description: To ensure customer receives accurate and complete gasoline emissions inspection to his/her vehicle in a timely and professional manner and to maintain a pleasant and safe environment for customers.
Job Responsibilities
- Must be available to work M-F 10-6 pm and Saturdays 10-4 pm
- Perform Emissions inspections per county requirements.
- Perform oil changes and replace filters.
- Check and replace automotive fluids as directed.
- Complete sales transactions
- Understand and comply with EPA standards
- Clean facility as directed
- Other duties as needed
Qualifications
- Spanish speaking preferred
- County Emissions and/or State safety inspection certification and On the Spot certification.
- Experience performing oil changes preferred
- Customer service experience
- Basic computer skills
- Cash handling Experience
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Work Environment
- Exposed to outside weather conditions
- Frequently required to stand and walk
- Work around moving vehicles
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
