What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA/HHA - Live In position at JFS at Home/JFS Senior Care?
JFS Senior Care is seeking qualified CNAs and HHAs for “live in” opportunities. JFS Senior Care provides services built on integrity, compassion, social responsibility and humanitarian values. Join our growing home care agency and become a part of our caring community!
Clients will be in need of assistance for Non-Medical task such as:
- Meal Preparation
- Transportation and Errands- Must Drive (Grocery Shopping, Doctor Visits, and More)
- Mobility (ambulation, transfers, assistance with cane/walkers)
- Bathing
- Dressing
- Grooming
- Companionship
- Medication Reminders
Qualifications
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
- Proven ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Prior experience in a healthcare or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
- High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program
- Hoyer Lift Experience (as needed specific to client)
*Must have all the following current and valid documents:
- HHA or C.N.A Certificate/License
- CPR Card
- Level 2 background screening completed
- Physical
- TB test results last year or Chest x-ray within last 5 years
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of Automobile Insurance- auto insurance policy must include Bodily Injury Liability
- Work Authorization (I-9) documentation
- C.E.U Certificate's: (Alzheimer’s, HIV/AIDS, Assistance with Self-Medication)
