POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of behavioral health services provided by JFS.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees all aspects of JFS behavioral health services
Supervises and directs clinical supervisors, mental health counselors, clinical support specialists, and / or other staff in the clinical department
Creates and delivers professional development to clinical and non-clinical staff
Interview, hire, train, and evaluate program staff in the clinical department
Develop and maintain staff structure and procedures which successfully fulfill program functions
Participates in review of agency policy and procedures
Network within the community and promote and market programs and services
Prepares and submits timely and accurate reports and other documents related to program services for the purpose of monitoring assigned program activities and functions
Ensures quality management and compliance standards are met consistent with agency and funding source expectations
Prepares for and responds to audits
Represent agency on community coalitions
Attend Board meetings and other pertinent Board events as directed by the Executive Director
Makes budget recommendations for department staff, staff development, and staff resources to ensure adequate funding for delivery of clinical services
Oversees and authorizes clinical services expenditures and monitors expense budget reports and recommends adjustments as necessary
Collaborates with other agency leadership to receive input and communicate information relevant to program and agency operations
Develops and sustains strong collaborative partnerships with system partners
Coordinates services with other local Jewish agencies such as the United Jewish Federation, the JCC, and local synagogues
Coordinates with other behavioral health agencies, service organizations, and other community resources to inform practice, assist in collaborations, and provide consultation on services
Participates in the development of proposals to a variety of potential funding sources
Participates in the development and implementation of new services based on community need and consistent with the organizations mission
Delivers community presentation regarding agency services and represents the agency at meetings and professional or community functions
Performs other related duties as assigned by the Executive Director in accordance with agency growth and changes
WORK HOURS, SCHEDULE & FLEXIBILITY
This position primarily works traditional office hours to meet the needs of the program : Monday through Friday. Some evening or weekend hours may be required to support the program (e.g., special events, intern / volunteer recruitment activities, etc.).

REQUIREMENTS
Positive attitude, proactive mentality, responsive, and strong work ethic
Masters Degree in counseling, social work, or a related degree
Licensed in the State of Utah as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC), or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or eligible for full licensure within 6 months of hire
At least 5 years supervisory experience in the field of behavioral health, director experience preferred
Ability to pass a background check and be fingerprinted
Valid drivers license
Reliable transportation
Proof of current automobile insurance
Ability to become insured under JFS upon hire
Proven management and leadership skills
Excellent computer skills, including electronic health records system and Microsoft Office suite
Must have effective verbal and written communication skills including presentations to small and large groups of internal and external customers
Demonstrates knowledge of social service agencies
Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of programs and services, as well as program development
