JGA have partnered with a market-leading global software company building mission-critical software services which is shaping their industry. Founded more than 10 years ago, they now operate in more than 30 countries as their impressive growth continues.
They're hiring for a Head of US Payroll to help shape their Payroll function and take ownership of full employee payroll process and manage the monthly financial reporting for their salaried, hourly and union workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute end-to-end bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll processing for employees, including unionized staff, across multiple states and entities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and drive efficiencies, supporting the scalability of the Hire-to-Retire workflow.
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate payroll cost allocation across cost centers and locations, while working closely with HR to gather and verify employee data for payroll processing.
- Develop and implement process improvements and internal controls to strengthen payroll operations.
- Lead ad-hoc projects and take on additional assignments to support the broader team as needed.
Requirements:
- At least 7 years within a Payroll Management position
- Expert within US payroll, with experience running payroll across multiple US states including NY & CA.
- Proficiency in Payroll Systems e.g. Workday, ADP
- Experience working in a fast-moving company - FinTech, Software would be ideal.

The salary range for this position is $135-$165k and they operate on a hybrid working schedule in their New York office.
