The Preconstruction Co-op is an entry level position and a great way to gain exposure and knowledge in the construction industry. You'll be working with our Preconstruction department to gain experience from project start to close. We're a supportive and collaborative group, and we want to help fill your toolbox with hands-on learning experiences.
Come join Findorff as a Preconstruction Co-op this Summer / Fall (June 2025 - December 2025) or Spring / Summer (January 2026 - August 2026)
GAIN ON-THE-JOB EXPERIENCE :
- Attend pre-bid conferences to gather project details
- Participate in bid day activities including big package preparation
- Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for various project components
- Assist in the development of preliminary project schedules
- Attend meeting with owners, architects and engineers
- Attend pre-task, pre-bid, and post-project meetings
- Participate in bid result evaluations
- Communicate with prospective bidders using bidding software or telephone
