We have a great opportunity to join our Warehouse Team at our Sioux Falls, SD branch as a Warehouse Associate Back Up Driver. This is an on-site position that will provide quotes, sales and service, and will work with internal and external customers to ensure company goals are met and long-term positive customer relationships are cultivated.

Responsibilities Include :

Pick, fill, and pack orders on a timely basis to ensure prompt and accurate deliveries and transfers

Load and unload materials and trucks

Safely utilize power equipment including mechanical lift or vehicles when necessary to fulfill orders and restock warehouse shelves

Keep the warehouse clean and organized including disposal of leftover packing materials. such as wooden crates, pallets, and cardboard

Maintain accurate inventory management and take inventory of materials shipped or received. Refill primary bins using proper procedures and minimizing open boxes

Receive and process incoming stock and materials

Deliver products to customers in the absence of FT driver

Communicate with other departments and branches regarding order status or inventory issues. Work in a team environment to ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse

Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Experience and / or Training

1 year working in a team environment

Strong verbal communication skills for interacting with team members

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Ability to work safely and accurately

Ability to safely and effectively operate powered equipment such as forklift and stock chaser

Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication) and reading skills

2 years in a warehouse setting, working with power equipment, and pulling orders preferred

1 year warehouse experience including working with an RF Scanner, a forklift, and wire cutting preferred

Licenses / Certificates

Valid US Driver's license

Clean driving record

Pass the DOT physical
