Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our users, ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure, and maintaining network systems. This role requires a strong customer service orientation, as well as proficiency in various IT tools and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line support for IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and network problems.
- Manage and troubleshoot computer systems and peripherals to ensure optimal performance.
- Administer and maintain LAN environments, ensuring connectivity and security.
- Utilize our PSA/RMM dashboard for tracking incidents and managing service requests efficiently.
- Deployment and configuration of firewalls, switches, and access points within the network.
- Communicate effectively with users to understand their needs and provide timely solutions.
- Support operating systems installation, updates, and troubleshooting across various platforms.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance IT infrastructure reliability and performance.
Experience
- Proven experience in IT support roles or similar positions is preferred.
- Familiarity with network administration concepts and practices.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Experience with computer management tools and techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, VMware) is essential.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure components including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Experience with networking equipment is advantageous.
- Reliable transportation is required.
