Errand Runner

Jim Bass Ford, Inc. is seeking a self-directed, highly motivated individual to serve as an Errand Runner/File Clerk.

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to analyze information, anticipate outcomes, and proactively resolve minor issues. The successful candidate will also be friendly, outgoing, dependable, and professional. The ideal candidate will be customer-service oriented and is expected to provide exceptional service to both internal and external personnel and entities while representing the company. This position is suited for a full-time candidate position and works Monday – Friday. Work hours are expected to be between 9:00am and 6:00pm.

A typical day includes:

• Daily trips to the registration office for license plates
• Trips to various banking institutions for deliveries and pick-ups
• Delivery of materials between local work locations
• Post office visits and deliveries
• Compiling data into a spreadsheet
• Reviewing documents for grammar and punctuation
• Filing invoices and car deals
• Maintaining filing and archives
• License plate organization and delivery
• Running postage machine
• Other similar support functions

This is a very active position with many time-critical deadlines. You will be accountable for your own scheduling and driven results to accomplish tasks requested by internal customers. Medium to heavy lifting of banker’s boxes is required.

Qualifications for this position include:

• High school diploma or GED, one or more years of experience or training, or equivalent education and experience. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license, a working vehicle, and a good driving record.
• Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
• Working knowledge of Google Docs and computer knowledge for looking up customer information.
• Some analytical ability is required in order to find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work.
• Must have good command of the English language - oral and written.

Salary : $30,700 - $38,800
