Job Description
The Body Shop Porter helps ensure complete customer satisfaction by maintaining the cleanliness of the Body Shop, cleaning vehicles, delivering vehicles to customers and vendors, and transporting customers to/from their home when needed.
The ideal candidate has a high energy level, a desire to work in a fast paced environment, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, forklift training, and some related experience. Candidates must be able to drive both manual and automatic transmissions and work productively in a fast-paced team environment and must have a positive attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to lift 50 pounds safely.
Responsibilities
- Cleans the vehicles of Body Shop customers once work has been completed
- Cleans the Body Shop work areas
- Transports customers to and from their home when needed and requested
- Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
- Follows all safety and security procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer and internet skills
- Experience in a similar role a plus
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance
