Jim Coleman Automotive is a 3rd generation family-owned dealership. The Coleman family has been selling and servicing cars in the Washington-Metropolitan, and Bethesda areas since the 1950s. Mr. William Coleman, founder of Coleman Automotive, had a vision of establishing a dealership with a higher level of class and a superior level of service. We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager who is energetic, positive, and possess great people skills to join our team. This role is hands-on, and involves working leads, desking deals, making sure contracts and rebates are collected, and training sales staff. Candidates should also have a verifiable track record of profitability, market share performance, and above average CSI in order to be considered for the position.
Responsibilities
- Hire, motivate, mentor and train the New & Used Sales team
- Work with the team to maintain sales profitability of New and/or Pre-Owned Vehicles
- Manage Customer Retention
- Establish and maintain performance standards
- Experience with automotive internet and retail tools
- Possess strong closing abilities
- Handle and resolve customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally
Requirements
- Excellent phone and computer skills
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Some experience in Used Vehicle purchasing, merchandising and marketing
- Expertise in supervising the everyday efforts of desk managers and improving F/I income through mentorship and training
- Possess successful history of building and training a sales team, strong CSI scores and above average gross and net departmental profits
- Authorized to work in the USA
- Able to pass pre-employment background screening, Motor Vehicle Record check, and drug test
- Must have a valid driver's license
