Key Responsibilities

  • Execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of various components within our technology products.
  • Write secure, high-quality code by employing the syntax of at least one programming language with minimal supervision.
  • Design and analyze the implications of upstream and downstream systems during the development process.
  • Utilize tools within the Software Development Life Cycle to enhance automation and efficiency.
  • Apply technical troubleshooting skills to resolve basic complexity issues effectively.
  • Analyze large and diverse data sets to identify problems and support informed decision-making in application development.
  • Cultivate an inclusive team culture that values diversity, equity, and respect in all interactions.

Required Skills

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering principles and a minimum of 2 years of applied experience.
  • Practical experience with system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability.
  • Proficiency in coding with modern programming languages such as Python, React, and Java, alongside experience in database querying languages.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and exposure to agile methodologies, including CI/CD and security.
  • Emerging knowledge of contemporary software applications and technical processes related to cloud, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in software engineering roles within a large corporate environment.
  • Proven ability to develop, debug, and maintain code effectively in a complex system environment.
  • Experience across the entire Software Development Life Cycle, with a solid understanding of application resiliency.
