What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Worker position at Jim Davis Restoration?
At Jim Davis Restoration, we are a complete restoration company specializing in water mitigation, mold remediation, Fire restoration, as well as lead and asbestos removal. We are in search of skilled construction technicians that take pride in their work and want to deliver high quality service.
Open positions include areas in, but are not limited to, Roofing, Framing, Finish Carpentry Siding, Gutter, Drywall, Painting, Floor installation, and Cabinetry.
Job Requirements
- Estimate material and equipment needed for assigned projects; requisition and maintain adequate materials to complete projects.
- Perform skilled carpentry work in the maintenance, repair, alteration and construction of buildings, facilities, structures and equipment; assure compliance with building, health and safety codes, and standards.
- Construct, form, frame, finish, maintain and repair various items
- Construct and maintain walls, floors, ceilings and roofs as directed.
- Repair and replace flooring including hardwood, tile, laminate, etc.
- Prep interior and exterior surfaces for painting; mix and apply paints and other finishes using brushes, rollers and spray machines.
- Operate and maintain a variety of carpentry equipment including saw, routers, drills, grinders and various hand and power tools used in the trade.
- Assist other trade workers with maintenance and repair projects as directed.
- Maintain service records, inspection records, and other documentation as needed.

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
