What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto Parts Counter Person position at JIM FALK MOTORS?
Jim Falk Motors is looking for a Parts Counter Person to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Work with service technicians and advisors to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service;
- Maintain clean and professional appearance of counter, work area, and stockroom;
- Inventory, maintain accurate records of received goods;
- Maintain parts in appropriate storage areas;
- Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up and speaking to specific parts;
- Pull/fill orders from stock and maintain weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock;
- Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order;
- Provide high level service to both internal and external customers;
- Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and other information to customers;
- Converse effectively/efficiently regarding customer parts status;
- Locate out-of-stock parts from outside source and submit an emergency order, if necessary.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license;

- Ability to calculate figures;
- Eager to improve in a dynamic work environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
