Responsibilities:
- Use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical problems.
- Fix or replace faulty parts, conduct oil changes, brake repairs, and tune-ups.
- Repair wiring and sensors and update vehicle software.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic machines efficiently.
- Explain repairs, provide cost estimates, and recommend maintenance.
- Adhere to workplace safety standards and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the United States.
- GM-certified technicians are preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working on GM vehicles is preferred.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Automotive and engine repair experience or formal auto mechanic training is necessary.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment is essential.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service with a positive attitude.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Being bilingual is a plus!
