Description
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Understand and promote the Jim ‘N Nick’s culture, stays abreast of people strategies and competitive industry
- Build a comprehensive strategic hiring plan, setting the vision, strategy, and goals for talent acquisition for JNN.
- Create innovative programs, events and campaigns to generate awareness, build candidate pipeline and drive
- Build a data-driven Talent Acquisition organization, evolving recruiting metrics and analytics that provide insight, drive
- Develop effective working relationships with leaders at all levels of the organization and act as a strong business
- Partner with Marketing to develop employment branding and associated collateral.
- Promote Jim ‘N Nick’s as the employer of choice to all potential candidates by providing information regarding the
- Manage the entire recruiting process for operations and Station 5; source, screen, qualify, interview, make hiring and
- Manage new hire offer process and ensure competitive compensation packages within current market and industry
- Negotiate any relocation requirements with candidates.
- Conduct all appropriate candidate checks including but not limited to assessments, background check and reference
- Establish regular strategic staffing sessions to communicate priorities, status and results.
- Identify best practices and manage recruiting processes, applicant management system (AMS), job fair participation,
- Manage and advise operations leaders on hourly recruiting tactics and manage hourly postings on AMS.
- Evaluate, analyze and report recruiting statistics including time to fill, cost per applicant/hire, source, diversity, best
- Manage the recruiting budget, evaluate costs associated with applicant sources, advertising, relocation, and vendors;
- Partner with business leaders on new restaurant opening (NRO) recruitment strategy.
- Generate employment brand awareness and implement, measure and monitor metrics that impact JNN strategies.
- Manage and optimize the daily recruiting processes and activities i.e., social networking, digital recruiting.
- Drive continuous process improvements in a demanding and rapidly changing business environment.
- Negotiate vendor agreements and manage relationships with contingency and retained search firms to ensure cost
- Partner with Human Resources team to support initiatives and strategy.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum of eight (8) years’ recruiting experience, including three (3) or more years in a high growth company.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in recruiting for the hospitality/retail industry across multiple states.
- Proven track record of successful creation and implementation of social media recruiting, brand awareness and
- Strong experience with HRIS/AMS software packages.
- Ability to plan, problem solve, prioritize, and manage multiple and changing timelines; multi-task with limited
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong negotiation skills and high level of interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, flexible, and professional demeanor .
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Resident of or willingness to relocate to Birmingham, AL or Atlanta, GA.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and work in an office environment and the ability to bend, stoop, kneel
- Ability to lift at least 30 pounds.
- Ability to attend meetings, conferences, workshops, etc. as well as visit Jim ‘N Nick’s locations, vendors, etc.;
