What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Coordinator position at Jim Norton Auto Group?
As the Human Resources (HR) Coordinator for Jim Norton Auto Group, you will complete administrative duties for our organization and our human resource partner, Corban OneSource. This includes assisting with recruitment, onboarding, maintaining employee records, and providing administrative support to all employees. You will also work with our employees to ensure they are educated on their benefits and assist with HR issues as needed. Travel to all locations is a requirement for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Provide employee support for benefits, HR questions and onboarding as needed at all locations
- Assist Corban OneSource with obtaining required employee documentation
- Work with our benefits providers and help ensure our benefits are properly recorded both at the employee and company level
- Educate our employees on their benefits, including 401(k), health care, and insurance products
- Compile year end reporting for ACA, 401(k) etc. and assist with audits as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with dealership staff and prospective employees
- Computer literacy and ability to learn company software
- Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
- Understanding of employee issues, and ability to communicate solutions effectively, professionally, and respectfully
- Maintain confidentiality as required for sensitive company and employee issues
- Travel to company locations to meet with employees in person
- Must office at the Jim Norton Toyota of Tulsa location
- Human Resources Experience A Plus
Physical Requirements
- The physical requirements of the position are LIGHT to MEDIUM in intensity.
- Must be able to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and the field of vision necessary to drive vehicles safely.
- Constant – Reaching, sitting, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing.
- Frequent – Repetitive motion.
- Occasional – Balancing, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
Physical Working Conditions
- This position is subject to inside and outside environmental working conditions including but not limited to temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, minor potential physical hazards such as electrical, mechanical, and cleaning equipment, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with operation an auto dealership.
