Jim Shorkey North Hills CDJR is in search of an Experienced Service Advisor to join our growing team. Service Advisors are effectively communicating between the customers and our Service Technicians. In order to be successful, you should have excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Your responsibilities would include:
- Greeting our customers and understanding their needs
- Consulting mechanics regarding necessary repairs
- Explaining repairs, services, and recommendations to customers
- Coordinating and communicating with technicians to ensure repairs performed
- Maintaining positive customer relationship to ensure repeat business
- Keep up to date with Factory certification requirements

Requirements
- Experience in the automotive industry is required
- Strong communication skills
- Basic knowledge of computer programs including word processing and database tools.
- Organizational skills including the ability to schedule appointments, meet with customers and ensure that work is done properly.
- Exceptional customer service skills based on experience.
- Prior service department experience in a dealership is a plus
