Commercial Service Manager
General Description:
Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of all commercial technicians; assist in selling goods and services to customers; dispatch and coordinate service for customers at customer facilities or for road service.
Duties Include:
- Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment, and skill of personnel.
- Monitor work levels and review performance.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly.
- Monitor cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Recommend personnel actions, such as hires, promotions, discharges, and discipline.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies regarding payment, exchanges, and returns, and security practices.
- Oversee completion of work, using equipment such as hand tools or gauges to verify compliance with standards.
- Inspect and monitor work areas, examine tools and equipment, and provide safety training to prevent, detect, and correct unsafe conditions or safety violations.
- Implement upselling techniques to promote additional services and products to customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Investigate accidents/injuries and prepare reports of findings.
Commercial Service Manager Requirements:
· Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
· Position requires continuous standing, bending, lifting and ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
· The ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment.
· Team-Player: Works well as a member of a group.
· Detail-Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well.
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
· Lifting: Frequent lifting over 50 pounds from ground to chest high.
· Occasional squatting, bending, and twisting.
· Standing for extended periods of time.
· Environment: Work in an environment that is not climate controlled. Temperatures range from extremely hot to extremely cold, depending on the season.
· Vision (Near, distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth Perception).
· Sense of sound (Ringing telephones, alarms, horns and motorized equipment).
· PPE: Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Safety Glasses, gloves, footwear).

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
