Jimco Maintenance, a leader in the maintenance & repair of movable retail equipment is seeking a full time Tech based out of Summerville, SC:

NOTE: This job requires approximately 50% overnight travel spread over a period of 1 year. Only apply IF you are willing to travel.

Responsibilities:

• Pressure cleaning, minor MIG welding, cart caster & wheel change, plus other miscellaneous repairs of rolling grocery store equipment (shopping carts, floats, bakery racks, etc.)
• Pressure cleaning of sidewalks, windows and doors at front of store
• Communicating with store management and department level employees

Requirements:

• All Nighttime work beginning about 8:00 pm and working until the job is completed
• Ability to work out of doors
• Live within 25 miles of 864 Orangeburg Rd. Summerville, SC, where we park our truck
• Smartphone is required for voice & data communication with field management
• Able to work a 4 night work week with days/nights over 4 paid as extra days
• Ability to work on a 2 person crew to provide your customer with first rate service
• Willing to travel as needed to service customers in SC and GA, NC and VA; up to 50% overnight
• Must be 21 years of age to drive a Jimco Maintenance provided vehicle

Qualifications:

• Able to work in a fast paced, physically demanding environment & able to lift 50 lbs., stoop, bend and stand for extended lengths of time
• Experience with pressure cleaning & MIG welding is a plus, but not required,. We will train you.
• Clean driving record for past 3 years and we do check your MVR
• Able to pass DOT physical, drug screening & verification of Social Security number
• Experience driving a large box truck pulling a trailer is a plus

What Jimco Provides:

• 6 weeks of on site training at full pay
• A competitive salary starting at $925.00 per week
• 4 night work week with stores pre-assigned 1 - 2 weeks ahead of time
• Assigned territory of SC and GA
• Ability to earn extra pay by working a 5th day when schedule allows
• A monthly discretionary bonus
