Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Front of House Team Member to join our team. As a Front of House Team Member, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. This is a great opportunity to work in the food industry and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they enter the establishment
- Provide prompt and efficient service to ensure guest satisfaction
- Take customer orders and accurately enter them into the system
- Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with company standards
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Upsell menu items and promote any featured items to increase sales
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Cash handling experience is a plus
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
