In-Shop Worker

Duties

• Operate the cash register and handle transactions efficiently using POS systems.
• Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items are prepared according to safety and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen equipment and surfaces.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with food handling regulations and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods.
• Stock shelves and assist in inventory management as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, grocery store, or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards customers and team members.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to food preparation and cleaning.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
