Jimmys Gourmet Bakery is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented HR Specialist – Benefits & Compensation to join our team. This role is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of compensation and benefits programs to ensure compliance, competitiveness, and alignment with organizational objectives. Must be a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compensation Administration: Conduct salary benchmarking, maintain job descriptions, and provide compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions, and salary adjustments.
- Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefits enrollment, ensure compliance with regulations, and manage RetireReadyNJ plans.
- HRIS & Data Management: Utilize Paylocity and Excel (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUP) for data analysis, reporting, and system optimization.
- Organizational Development: Lead the annual performance management process, coordinate employee training programs, and support managers with job description updates.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) required
- 4-6 years of HR experience, with a focus on compensation and benefits
- Strong proficiency in Paylocity and Excel (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUP)
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to balance employee and business needs while ensuring compliance
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel between worksites as needed
Work Environment
- Office setting, with infrequent factory floor and warehouse exposure.
- Long periods of sitting and computer use are involved.
- Products manufactured in the facility may contain peanuts, tree nuts, and other potential allergens.
