Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to support the Assistant Controller – Costing in the review, management, and analyses of all costs associated with Jimmy’s Gourmet Bakery manufacturing and product development. Conduct routine analyses of our materials, labor, overhead, and equipment. Provides coverage in other accounting/finance functions as needed.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
· Plan, study, and collect data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor
· Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting reports
· Assist Controllers and CFO with reporting and data collection both internally and for 3rd parties such as banks and insurance providers
· Establish/review/modify standard costs and update them as appropriate
· Maintain and review general ledger accounts and financial statements
· Assist with physical inventories and monitor cycle count program along with other elements of inventory control
· Work to automate processes and collection of expenses related to the plants
· Strive for continuous policy and procedure improvements
· Other projects as needed.

Work Environment
· Professional office environment: Involves 75% sitting and working at a computer/video display terminal and 25% moving around the office and warehouse.

Experience/Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
· 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing processes and entries preferred.
· Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
· Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite & Microsoft Dynamics GP.
· Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
· Excellent mathematical acumen.
Experience in manufacturing facility a plus
Salary : $60,000 - $66,000
