Commercial Roofing Project Coordinator

We are seeking an enthusiastic, growth minded individual to be our Project Administrator in our Spokane Valley Office

The Commercial Project Coordinator prepares projects for Project Managers by gathering information and analyzing important metrics. This critical role provides excellent coordination and communication with all team members including customers/clients, sales personnel, estimators and project teams to ensure each project is administratively complete. You can expect an active, fast-paced workday where multi-tasking is essential. The goal is to provide ongoing project management, submittals, and cost control detailed reports so the company can make informed decisions that will enhance its profitability and growth.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 years of project coordination experience in the construction industry
• Previous experience in the Roofing Industry preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to climb a 32' ladder as needed
• Strong knowledge of all commercial and residential roof systems and accessories
• Proficient in technology including MS Office and basic computer software
• Proof of legal right to work in United States
• Current driver’s license with no restrictions
• Successfully pass Drug Screen and Background Check

Essential Functions:

• Complete engineering projects through organization and control of project elements
• Development of project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and conferring with management
• Identify project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards
• Preparation and presentation of product submittals
• Define project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements
• Project schedule maintenance through monitoring of project progress, coordinating activities coordination problem resolution
• Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions
• Maintain project costs by reviewing approving expenditures and administration of contractor contracts
• Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions
• Ensure project database maintained
• Ensure compliance to all federal and state regulations
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
