Duties And Responsibilities
- Purchase indirect materials and services consistent with cost, quality and delivery targets.
- Assess requisitions and process purchase orders.
- Lead negotiations for assigned indirect parts/suppliers.
- Conduct research for new suppliers, commodities and technologies as required.
- Ensure compliance to Purchasing policies and procedures.
- Manage payable transactions for assigned commodities and supply base.
- Other related activities as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance or related Business field
- Prior experience in an international business environment
- Professional oral and written skills
- Work experience: 1-3 years of purchasing experience in the automotive industry desired
- Familiar with purchasing and accounting processes
- Proficient with PC and Office tools.
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- High level of professionalism and accountability
- Solid sense of ownership with ability to work autonomously
- Desire to continuously improve self and surrounding business environment
- Experienced in problem solving with a cross functional approach
- Highly organized and attention to details
