JJE seeks a Strategic Account Manager to support core business and new business acquisition globally. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing sales and account management processes, systems, and reports for key OEMs. The role requires a detail-oriented and creative manager, comfortable working in a highly collaborative, entrepreneurial environment. The position will continuously seek, vet, recommend, and implement strategies to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of business development. Responsibilities include managing business activities through weekly business reviews, quarterly business reviews, and other cadenced and ad-hoc reporting.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Anticipate and strategize potential challenges with key accounts, demonstrating strong technical negotiation skills.
* Act as an internal consultant with business partners in sales and acquisition activities, communicating findings to make data analysis actionable.
* Break down complex problems to create and implement action plans.
* Understand analysis and computational complexity and solve problems programmatically.
* Design visual interfaces for data interaction.
* Define and implement key business development support systems and processes to meet rapid growth.
* Identify strategy gaps with sales and account management teams and find opportunities for improvement.
* Own and drive cadenced business reporting to provide leaders with an accurate pulse of the business.
* Own the roadmap for sales and acquisition teams, ensuring continuous progress.
Experience and Skills:
Basic Qualifications:
* Related college degree
* 5 years in Sales Operations or similar functions supporting mid-to-large scale multi-geographical Sales or Business Development Organizations.
* New business acquisition experience.
* Demonstrated ability to define, refine, and implement sales processes, procedures, and policies.
* Strong analytical and communication skills with a track record of presenting to senior management.
* Sound business judgment, ownership, and data-driven analysis skills.
* Proven knowledge of MS Excel for data interpretation and reporting.
* Ability to operate successfully in a lean and fast-paced organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
Engineering degree preferred
* MBA, Masters of Engineering, or other relevant advanced degree.
* Project management experience.
* Highly organized, with multi-tasking skills and the ability to handle ambiguous situations.
