Job Description – Project Coordinator
A Project Coordinator supports the Project Managers in ensuring safe progress of field execution, including troubleshooting field issues, gathering equipment and resources, and reviewing information. Their main duties include maintaining budgets and work schedules, organizing, and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring project deadlines are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction principles and procedures, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
· Work closely with project managers to create comprehensive action plans concerning field issues, resources, budgets, and schedules for projects.
· Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary.
· Evaluate technical design and field issues and develop solutions.
· Manage team goals, project schedules, and project information.
· Coordinate field construction with all team members to keep workflow on track.
· Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored.
· Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails.
· Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
· Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
Skills and Qualifications
· 5 years of construction experience or 4-year degree in related field.
· Nuclear experience is a plus
· Strong written and oral communication skills.
· Effective interpersonal skills capable of ensuring team cohesiveness.
· Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Team-management and leadership skills.
· Document management and ability to use project management tools.
· Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
· Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
· Familiarity in a Nuclear facility/environment with working is a plus.
