Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide medication administration as prescribed and monitor medication schedules.
- Support clients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
- Document client progress and any changes in condition to communicate with family members or healthcare providers.
- Foster a supportive relationship with clients, encouraging independence while providing necessary assistance.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or personal assistance, particularly in senior care or group home settings.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and best practices for working with individuals with disabilities.
- Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to proper lifting techniques.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

- Ability to perform cleaning tasks and maintain a tidy living environment for clients.
- Certification in first aid or CPR is a plus but not required.
