ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

All Press Operators
- Operate automatic presses and related equipment (press, straightener, feeder, stacker, Smart Pac, etc.).
- Assist set-up team with set up and die changes
- Perform coil changes and move material from the coil all the way through the die
- Use and understand quality control instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.) and fixtures and record findings
- Stack or pack parts as needed
- Demonstrate ability to effectively 5S and sustain work center on a daily basis.
- Ensure quality of parts produced
- Perform other company related duties as assigned.
- Training team members on technical job duties and responsibilities
- Run presses and equipment at Standard Rates.
Level 2.1
- Demonstrate ability to use measuring devices and fixtures associated with quality checks.
- Demonstrate ability to use RFPRO effectively and record all times accurately.
- Demonstrate ability to use JobWeb and refer to job work instructions as needed.
- Demonstrate proper start up and shut down of the press, feeder, straightener, and mandrel, and identify the various parts of this equipment and describe their purpose.
- Demonstrate proper documentation of Checkweb/Job Communication and able to identify proper transactions.
- Demonstrate proper reporting of operations scrap and rejects in RFPRO.
- Demonstrate ability to load a new tool, check if sensors are enabled and change counters in SMARTPAC
- Demonstrate ability to identify and apply lubricants referring to the operations setup sheet.
- Demonstrate ability to locate packaging instructions and properly label and package products including banding skids properly
- Demonstrate ability to identify minimal troubleshooting issues and contact the team leader for assistance. (Stock Alignment,
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must be able to read and write.
- Add and subtract decimals, fractions, and percentages. Capable of using various machine tools, micrometers, and calipers.
- Mechanical ability is a must.
PAY: $17.00/hr - $19.00 plus 7% shift premium
Hours: Monday - Thursday 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Fridays 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Requirements:PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive standing, recurring bending as well as moderate to heavy lifting.
- Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
- Continuous mental and/or visual attention to operate machine(s).
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
TRAVEL:
1. This position will have limited travel.

- Must read and write in English
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:
- The use of safety glasses & hearing protection is required while in any manufacturing area.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Considerable and continuous noises.
- Exposure to hazards where failure to exercise extreme care could result in severe injury.
- Working in a safe manufacturing environment
- Must wear appropriate safety equipment when deemed necessary
- May be working in noisy, dusty, greasy, or wet environments.
- Some disagreeable elements present, such as hot and humid, fumes, etc.
- Exposure to various odors, dust, cuts, or burns due to corrosive and/or heated tanks of chemicals, noise, etc.
- Intermittent exposure to weather conditions
Salary : $17 - $19
